Have you ever interacted negatively with someone on Twitch but never knew how to block them?

Well, we can show you how to do just that with this quick guide.

Firstly, if the person you want to block is in the same [Twitch Chat](https://allcreatortools.com/blog/how-to-add-twitch-chat-to-stream-with-obs) as you, then all you need to do is click their [username](https://allcreatortools.com/blog/how-to-change-your-twitch-name), and the profile will pop up.

Then, click the three little dots in the bottom right corner and click “Block *username*”.

Just like that, they’re blocked. If you want to report them for something they said in chat, you can also click the report button. At the end of the report, it will ask if you want to block that person, too, and all you need to do is click the checkbox to block them.

By reporting them, you can expect an email from Twitch to tell you that they have received their report and any action they may have taken against that person.
